RIMMEL LONDON: Lasting Finish Breathable Foundation and Concealer

..........

As part of my first Influenster Vox Box (flippin' YAY!), I was sent a humble little care package of new Rimmel products to try. Rimmel will always hold a special place in my heart, as it was the first brand I ever fell in love with. When I first started as a makeup artist, my kit was chock full of their lipsticks, pencils and shadows. Whilst I've graduated onto more pro-friendly brands since then, I still feel a pang of nostalgia whenever I spot their gondolas in Boots and Superdrug.

After trying these products for a little while now, I can say with total confidence that these are my go-to 6am call time pieces. The Lasting Finish 25hr Breathable Foundation and Concealer (£8.99 and £5.99, Boots.com) both apply straight from the bottle with a sponge applicator (think lipgloss doe-foot wand for the foundation), which is perfect for a convenient fix. The foundation is described as having "breathable skin technology that moisturises for up to 25 hours", and while I wouldn't mistranslate that as a claim to 25hr wear, I definitely do feel as though my skin is hydrated and fresh, without drying out the whole time I wear it. The concealer is very similar, feeling light and airy for the full wear time.

I'm totally dying over the sculpting palette and lipstick! In the perfect fall berry shade, Pink Lane (£6.49, Boots.com), I think I'll get a shameful amount of wear out of it in the coming months. The sculpting palette (£6.99, Boots.com) is perfect too, for finishing off the base products to add another dimension to the skin. You can chisel and sculpt your way to perfect supermodel cheekbones- and really, who better to design such a palette than Kate Moss?! Her delicate yet striking bone structure has been iconic for decades- now, it can be yours too!

Let me know down below if you get to try the new Lasting Finish Breathable 25hr collection from Rimmel London- I'd love to hear your thoughts!
